Upscale Installs – Terms & Conditions of Installation

These Terms & Conditions apply to all installation services provided by Upscale Installs, including but not limited to the installation of kitchens, joinery, wardrobes, and office furniture. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Scope of Work

1.1 These Terms & Conditions apply to the installation of:

  • Kitchens (flat pack and custom)

  • Wardrobes and storage systems

  • Office furniture and commercial joinery

  • Residential and commercial joinery components

1.2 All works will be carried out as per the approved scope, drawings, and product specifications provided at the time of booking.

1.3 Any variations to the original scope of works must be approved in writing and may incur additional costs.

2. Pricing & Inclusions

2.1 All quoted prices:

  • Are inclusive of GST

  • Are based on a single, continuous visit unless otherwise stated

  • Include installation of the new items only (no modification, repurposing, or removal of existing fittings unless specifically quoted for)

2.2 The price assumes the following conditions:

  • All materials, fixtures, and cabinetry to be installed are on site at the commencement of installation

  • A clean, unobstructed, and safe working environment is provided

  • Standard rubbish and packaging related to the installation will be removed by Upscale Installs

3. Exclusions (Unless Specifically Quoted)

The following are not included in the quoted price unless explicitly stated:

  • Removal or disposal of existing kitchens, cabinetry, or fixtures

  • Alteration, repair, or customisation of existing fittings to accommodate new units

  • Customisation of new components to fit irregular spaces without prior agreement

  • Engagement of third-party contractors or coordination of trades such as plumbing, electrical, gas fitting, plastering, painting, or flooring

  • Provision of materials not supplied by Upscale Installs

  • Post-installation adjustments requested due to site preparation issues or measurements not supplied by our team

4. Site Access & Readiness

4.1 The client is responsible for ensuring the site is:

  • Safe, structurally sound, and compliant with local building codes

  • Accessible during normal working hours

  • Free of obstructions or hazards

4.2 If any of the following conditions delay or prevent the scheduled installation, additional costs may apply:

  • Products not being onsite or ready for installation

  • Unprepared or unsafe workspaces

  • Access restrictions (keys, building permissions, etc.)

  • Interference by other trades

4.3 Where applicable, the client must notify the building or property management of the planned installation to ensure access is granted.

5. Warranty

5.1  Products installed by Upscale Installs will be installed as per the manufactures specifications and materials. If there are any manufacturing defects (subject to manufacturer terms), Upscale Installs will advise the client (yourself) to contact your supplier for replacement items.

5.2 Our Workmanship Warranty of 12 months from Install date guarantees that installation has been completed to industry standards.

5.3 Warranty is void where:

  • Products are altered or modified after installation

  • Installation is performed outside manufacturer recommendations due to site restrictions

  • Products are used in unintended or excessive ways

  • Site preparation was incomplete or inaccurate at time of installation

6. Payment Terms

6.1 All invoices issued by Upscale Installs are due within 7 working days of job completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6.2 A final invoice will be issued upon:

  • Completion of installation work

  • Confirmation of site sign-off by either the client or a delegated representative

6.3 Late payments may incur:

  • A 1.5% monthly late fee on overdue balances

  • Suspension of ongoing or future installations until payment is received

6.4 Upscale Installs reserves the right to pursue debt collection for unpaid invoices beyond 30 days, with any collection costs passed on to the client.

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling

7.1 Cancellations made within 48 hours of scheduled installation may incur a rescheduling fee to cover labour and admin costs.

7.2 Jobs postponed due to incomplete or delayed site readiness may be rebooked at the earliest availability, but no sooner than 5 business days following the original date.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By proceeding with our installation services, you acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions. These may be updated periodically, with the latest version available upon request or through our website.
